Components Method
> one way of getting the resultant vector...
What's???
Vector > direction and magnitude
Scalar > numbers or quantities
How 2 use components method???
To get the resultant vector, we should find first the x-components and y-components of the vectors.
x- component formula usually uses the cosine formula.
y-component formula uses the sine formula.
Sum up the x-components & the y-components. Get the square of the x -components and the square of the y-components... Then get its square root...
The answer is the resultant vector...
to get the direction...
tan-1 (ry/rx)
.....
ok...
thats it!!!
