SOH CAH TOA??? waaTTT?!?

SOH CAH TOA
>>
makes us easilly memorize the sine, cosine and tangent thingy.

SOH- means sine theta is equal to opposite leg of the theta over hypotenuse....

CAH- means cosine theta is equal to adjacent leg of the theta over hypotenuse....

TOA- means tangent theta is equal to opposite leg of the theta over the adjacent...

Its just simple...

just based the opposite, adjacent and hypotenuse with the given theta...

Theta is the given angle in the statement...

Adjacent leg can be the hypotenuse that is if it is longer than the other adjacent leg...

But the hypotenuse cannot be the adjacent... Bec. your not sure if the adjacent one is shorter than the hypotenuse...

that's it...

i get it...

but its a little bit confusing... i still need to practice... ;p
